ClickBank Referral Tracking limit is 24 characters

I just found out from Mike Liebner’s Internet Marketing Blog that ClickBank’s ?tid= referral tracking code is limited to 24 characters, not eight as most people think. I thought it was limited to eight characters myself, and that limitation has been incorporated into the design of my Keyword Transformer Professional Edition product.

Sure enough, ClickBank’s Hoplink FAQ indicates that the limit is 24 characters.

I think that when it was introduced, it must have been a limit of eight, and it presumably has been extended to 24.

i am just a begineer in Clickbank but i have already earned a good deal of dollars from it. I would recommend it as an alternative to Adsense or Adbrite ads.

i used both Clickbank and adsense on my websites and i would have to say that i earn more on Clickbank than adsense. as long as you have good US and UK traffic, you would earn more on Clickbank.

i am using both Clickbank and infolinks ads on my website. Clicbank generates more money than infolinks but your website should be getting lots of us traffic.

In the non-net world, retailers are invariably fighting a war with shoplifters and people who would take your product while not paying for it. You would think that this type of factor wouldn’t be a problem in an online world. However in Clickbank which is the largest web marketplace in the globe, one in all the most important problems is stopping individuals from downloading a digital product and then not following through with payment.Like several alternative retail setting there are security weaknesses in Clickbank as there are with any software environment. But with some correct caution on the half of the vendor at the individual level, you’ll find ways in which to plug those security holes and keep your product secure thus every time it gets downloaded, you get paid.Truly we generally tend to sometimes are our own worst enemies once we become Clickbank merchants as a result of we do some things that undermine the protection Clickbank already has in place. The first thing to acknowledge when you market on Clickbank is that it’s off limits to put links to your product files on Clickbank on one among your other web site pages. Don’t strive to increase the marketing by driving traffic to your Clickbank pages in this way. For correct security, the sole method your customers ought to be ready to download your product is after surfing the normal Clickbank payment pages which enforce that payment is created before delivery. This can be one terribly simple precaution to stay someone from getting to your content and bypassing the payment procedure.Another good reason not to place links to your product on your net web site is that it can cause this back door to your products to look on the search engines as links others will use. Google will find the links and index them and they may seem fairly high in search engine rankings and that’s very dangerous for the safety of your product.
